The Waimakariri Bike Project (WBP) is a local volunteer-led initiative helping people get back on their bikes and riding safely. Whether you’ve got a flat tyre, a squeaky chain, or a bike that’s been sitting unused for years, WBP can help.

WBP runs free weekly workshops where you can bring your bike for basic repairs and maintenance. It’s not just about fixing bikes—it's about learning skills to keep them running. The workshops are held every Wednesday from 6–8 pm at the back of Dudley Pool, 47 Church Street, Rangiora.

If you have an old bike or spare parts lying around, consider donating them. WBP recycles donated bikes and gives them to people in need, keeping the community rolling.

Want to lend a hand? Volunteers are always welcome—just drop in during a workshop night or contact us to get involved.
