This is the first Christmas and New Year for Unplugged Herald and the Rangiora App, and I want you to know this project is nothing without you, the reader. I truly appreciate every one of you - those who read the printed gazette, those who send kind and supportive messages, and those who open the Rangiora App to see what’s happening around town.
What started as a simple list of local clubs has grown in a beautiful and unexpected way. I’m grateful for the encouragement, the feedback, and for everyone who shared events, stories, and details about their clubs and groups.
I’d also like to give a quiet thank you to one of our earliest Rangiora App users. Known to me only as 25yewoi0r. I wish I knew your name, but the app is intentionally built to work without collecting personal details. What I do know is that you’ve been there since the early days and keep coming back. Seeing that number in the stats genuinely makes my day, especially knowing the app is providing useful, up-to-date local information.
I’m excited for what the new year will bring, with new sections and fresh content ahead.
