The Rangiora Photographic Society is getting ready to start its 2026 season on Tuesday, 3 February at 7.00pm, meeting at the MainPower Cricket Rooms on Coldstream Road. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys photography, whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience behind the camera.
The society was formed by a small group of enthusiastic photographers with a shared passion for the craft and a strong desire to learn from each other. That spirit is still at the heart of the club today.
RPS is well known for its lively and welcoming members, along with a packed programme that includes guest speakers, field trips, competitions, tutorials, and workshops covering a wide range of photographic topics. It’s this mix of learning, challenge, and fun that keeps members coming back and attracts photographers from across North Canterbury and Christchurch.
