Rangiora Singers is a friendly community choir for adults who enjoy singing and developing their voices together. The choir meets each Tuesday from 7.15pm to 8.45pm at the Dudley Pavilion in Rangiora. There is no requirement to read music, as the focus is on the enjoyment of singing as a group in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The choir performs regularly at concerts and community events throughout the year, presenting a mix of seasonal favourites and varied repertoire. From Christmas carol evenings and joint performances with local groups to appearances at community venues and community centres, Rangiora Singers enjoys sharing music across North Canterbury.
New members are warmly welcomed, particularly sopranos and men. If you have ever thought about joining a choir, this could be the perfect opportunity. Current members are also encouraged to bring along friends who may be interested.
