The North Canterbury Scout Zone held a successful camp over the weekend of 27–29 March, bringing together around 170 leaders, parent helpers, Keas, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers from Kaiapoi, Waimak, Rangiora and Waipara Scout groups.
The weekend was packed with activities including tree swings, four-wheel driving, a slippery slide, flying fox, river walks, giant swing, tree climbing, dam building, air rifles, archery, rafting and bivvy building, among many others.
A big thank you goes to the organisers, leaders and cooks for the time and effort that made the camp such a memorable experience for everyone involved. The group also extends its appreciation to the wider community for their generous support, including Pak’nSave Rangiora, Farmer Brown Eggs, New World Ravenswood, New World Rangiora, Woolworths Waimak Junction, The Warehouse Rangiora, Hope Community Trust and Hunters for Hope.
