Rangiora Lioness Club

The Rangiora Lioness Club is a small, friendly group of women dedicated to serving the local community. Recent events include a Teddy Bears Picnic fundraiser for Plunket, and raffles for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas. Rangiora Museum

The Museum has extensive archives and can assist with family searches. On the fourth Thursday of each month a free public meeting is held with interesting speakers. All welcome, donations appreciated. Supper is served. Volunteers with computer skills welcomed for Wednesday afternoons. Soroptimist's mission is to empower, educate and enable women and girls to achieve their individual and collective potential. Established in 1969, Soroptimists North Canterbury is a friendly, passionate group of women who work together to better the lives of women and children in our local community. We volunteer time and expertise to raise funds for good causes, and enjoy fun and fellowship at our social events, as part of a global network of dedicated women.
